Privacy Policy
Enable Training and Recruitment is covered by the 10 National Privacy Principles (NPP), as set out in the Privacy Act 1988 (amended by the Privacy Amendment [Private Sector] Act 2000).
Enable Training and Recruitment recognises the importance of protecting personal information, which it may be required to collect from individuals who become associated with its business. The purpose of this Policy is to ensure that any individual who provides information to Enable Training and Recruitment is protected according to the requirements of the Privacy Amendment Act (Private Sector) 2000.
For the purpose of this Policy, "information" is described as:
"Personal information" means information relating to an individual, including an opinion, which may by provided to Enable Training and Recruitment either in material form or not, and whether true or not. Such information may personally identify an individual or make the person's identity reasonably apparent.
"Sensitive information" means information or an opinion about an individual's racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, membership of a political association, religious beliefs, philosophical beliefs, membership of a professional or trade association, membership of a trade union, sexual practices, criminal record or health information.
Enable Training and Recruitment takes it obligations under the Privacy Act seriously, and as such, will take all reasonable steps in order to comply with the Act and protect the privacy of personal information that it holds.
Collection and Use of Information
Enable Training and Recruitment may require the collection of personal information from individuals to enable it to provide Enable Training and Recruitment services to their clients. The reasons for the collection of personal information include, but are not limited to, tendering for work, AQTF requirements, contract obligations, servicing client needs, taxation and other legal requirements.
Enable Training and Recruitment may collect and hold personal information, such as, but not limited to, names of employees, trainees and proprietors of organisations, addresses, telephone numbers, facsimile numbers, e-mail addresses, titles and professional affiliations. These details are collected for the purpose of providing Enable Training and Recruitment services to customers and clients, and the selling and marketing of our products and extended range of services Enable Training and Recruitment may also use such information to apply customer/member satisfaction surveys and events such as "loyalty" programs Enable Training and Recruitment will not disclose this information to any other organisation, nor will it send any information overseas for any purpose whatsoever.
In the event that sensitive information is collected by Enable Training and Recruitment, it will not be used for any purpose without the express permission of the individual. The collection, use and disclosure of information will be in accordance with Enable Training and Recruitment Collection Statement.
Storage, Access and Retention of Personal Information
All personal information collected by Enable Training and Recruitment will be retained as part of a database, which will be securely monitored and maintained by Enable Training and Recruitment. The data will not be made available to a third party, unless it is legally required and verified, without the authority of the individual who provided the personal information.
Enable Training and Recruitment will make available for inspection all personal information, based on the information supplied by that individual, which it holds in relation to that individual, provided reasonable notice is given. In the event that any part of the personal information that the individual inspects is determined to be incorrect and requires alteration then Enable Training and Recruitment will make such alteration in compliance with the corrected advice provided by the individual.
Enable Training and Recruitment will take all reasonable steps to protect the security of the personal information that it holds. This includes appropriate measures to protect electronic materials and materials stored and generated in hard copy.
Where information held by Enable Training and Recruitment is no longer required to be held, and the retention is not required by law, then Enable Training and Recruitment will destroy such personal information by a secure means.
Compliance
If an individual has any concerns regarding the privacy of personal information, then the individual may make a complaint to Enable Training and Recruitment General Manager who will then endeavour to resolve the complaint.
Sources of Information
Where possible, Enable Training and Recruitment will collect the information directly from individuals, customers and clients. In some instances, Enable Training and Recruitment may collect personal information from press reports or published mediums, in which case, it will endeavour to verify such details with the person concerned.
Enable Training and Recruitment acknowledges that there is no obligation for an individual to provide it with personal information. However, if an individual chooses not to provide Enable Training and Recruitment with personal details, it may not be able to provide the individual with a full range of services or reduce the ability of servicing the individual's organisation direct.
Fees & Refund Policy
Enable will comply with "Guidelines for RTO's registered in South Australia, Financial management and refund policies, Acceptable methods for safeguarding client fees paid in advance, Option 3" which states:
"The RTO may accept payment of no more than $500 from each individual student prior to the commencement of the course. Following course commencement, the RTO may require payment of additional fees in advance from the student but only such that at any given time, the total amount required to be paid which is attributable to costs yet to be incurred on behalf of the student for tuition or other services yet to be delivered to the student, does not exceed $1,000."
A deposit of $500 per student is required at enrolment.
The balance of payment for the cost of the course/s must be made in accordance with duration of course. A payment plan will be negotiated with each student at time of enrolment.

Direct debit from your nominated account is our preferred option and is available via Ezidebit. Please enquire at Reception. If paying through Ezidebit, please ensure you have read the terms and conditions.
It is the student's responsibility to complete adequate studies in accordance with their payment schedule and training/workbooks will not be made available if payments are not up to date.
If regular payments are not up to date, Enable College has the right to cancel studies unless an application for extension is made in writing.
Not maintaining contact with tutor without prior written arrangement for more than 6 weeks will be deemed as a withdrawal from the course and no refund will be provided. If a re enrolment is requested a $75 re enrolment fee will apply.
If resubmission of an assessment is required a $15 administration fee will apply after one resubmission.
REFUNDS P&P
Refunds are given to cancellations made 7 or more working days prior to commencement of training. Enable College will deduct the $100 non refundable amount paid at the time the expression of interest to study was made.
You may withdraw at any stage, however if a withdrawal is made after 2 weeks from course commencement date no refund* will be given and the student is responsible for the remainder of fees.
*Refunds will only be provided if extenuating circumstances exist and an application to withdraw must be made in writing to the CEO prior to withdrawing. It is the discretion of the CEO to approve all refunds.
